Galerie Tokyo Humanité is pleased to present About a Distant Town, an exhibition of KAMIYAMA Akira's sculptures in the 1990s. Kamiyama (1953-2012) creates wooden sculptures in which he combines various architectural parts - stairs, towers, cabins, to list some - as if he creates an imaginary but nostalgic town where you might visit sometime, somewhere.Currently, Kamiyama is having a two-person exhibition with a painter HAMADA Juri in the Hiratsuka Museum of Art until November 26, 2017.
