On September 19, 2015, the Japanese Government railroaded " the security bills " through the Diet so that The Japanese Self-Defense Forces came to be able to use armed force outside the territory of Japan. However, on earth who expected it? By what magic can we believe that it does not violates Article 9 of the Constitution of Japan? Through the long session of the Diet, many people has flocked in front of the Houses of Parliament and raised voices of the protest. Among those people, especially some group of college students energized the people. Unlike former left-wing or new-left-wing student movements in 60's and 70's, they don't believe in any political ideology nor use any violence but gathered led by each one's own thought in daily life, and expressed it by sincere and passionate words. Ueda Chiaki has been also one of them since the group began to show its form, and always has been looking at them through the camera. What can
we find in these photographs? Maybe we can feel something except waht we should call "politics", - something more simple and primitive, but never to be lost in all our minds.
